NEW YORK Dec 11 (Reuters) - The euro rose to a session high of $1.3000 on Tuesday as investors positioned ahead of a Federal Reserve meeting on monetary policy with some speculation the Fed could signal more aggressive quantitative easing in the near term.
The euro was last up 0.4 percent at $1.2996 after climbing as high as $1.3000.
Any Fed decision will be announced on Wednesday.
