SAO PAULO Aug 8 (Reuters) - Brazil's benchmark IPCA consumer price index rose 0.43 percent in July, more than the median of analysts' forecasts, government statistics agency IBGE said on Wednesday.
The index had been expected to rise 0.38 percent in July, accelerating from a gain of 0.08 percent in June, according to the median forecast of 28 analysts polled by Reuters. Estimates for the IPCA ranged from a 0.30 percent to 0.45 percent rise.
