LIMA Aug 7 (Reuters) - Peru's central bank bought $2 million in the local spot market on Tuesday as the sol currency rose 0.19 percent per dollar to a more than 15-year high.
The sol strengthened as companies and organizations in Peru sold dollars to pay seasonal taxes in the local currency. The sol closed bidding at 2.616 per dollar.
