SAO PAULO, Sept 12 (Reuters) - Brazil plans to issue a new 30-year global bond "at some point" to create a new long-term benchmark, Paulo Valle, the Treasury's undersecretary for public debt, said on Wednesday.
Valle confirmed the government plans to return to international capital markets this year but said the decision on the maturity of the bonds issued will depend on market demand.
