SAO PAULO Feb 5 (Reuters) - Brazil's inflation rate will be lower this year than in 2012, Finance Minister Guido Mantega said on Tuesday, adding that the government will continue to generate large budget surpluses.
Brazil failed to reach its primary budget surplus goal last year and has debated whether to lower the primary surplus target to free up funds for investment in a bid to bolster the economy.
