NEW YORK Nov 1 (Reuters) - The euro rose to a session high against the dollar in early New York trade on Thursday as gains accelerated after data showing a larger-than-expected drop in U.S. initial jobless claims.
The euro hit as high as $1.2976 on Reuters data and was last $1.2972, up 0.1 percent on the day.
