NEW YORK May 31 (Reuters) - The euro fell to its lowest against the yen since December 2000 on Thursday as investors pared back riskier trades amid worries about the U.S. economy and on concerns about Spain's debt troubles.
The euro fell as low as 96.48 yen, down 1.3 percent, before recovering slightly to 96.53 yen, using Reuters data.
