Euro hits new 23-mth low vs dlr,dlr index at new high May 31st 2012, 15:16 NEW YORK | Thu May 31, 2012 11:16am EDT NEW YORK May 31 (Reuters) - The euro fell to a fresh 23-month low versus the dollar on Thursday while the greenback hit a new 21-month high against a basket of currencies. The dollar index reached a high of 83.215, the highest since early September 2010. The euro fell to a low of $1.2335, the lowest since the beginning of July 2010, according to Reuters data.
