NEW YORK, July 3 (Reuters) - The euro rose against the dollar and broke above $1.2600 on Tuesday in thin liquidity as investors positioned for the European Central Bank policy meeting on Thursday with U.S. markets closed tomorrow.
The euro was last up 0.1 percent at $1.2602 in mid-morning New York trade.
